The One-Piece Swimsuit

Who says you need to do an itty bitty two-piece to look and feel sexy on the beach? I’m so happy to see the one piece bathing suit become such a huge trend. As much as I love my two piece bikinis, the One-piece ones can be so fun and glamorous. What’s even better is that women of all shapes and sizes can rock it and feel super-hot. There are lots of people who wear bikinis and probably shouldn’t, and what’s up with the tankinis? Make up your mind, you either want a two piece or a one-piece – don’t be bipolar!

Tips when choosing your swimsuit:
•Prioritize the fit so you aren’t pulling and tugging at your suit.
•Pick a style that highlights the part of your body you find the sexiest
•Bustier cuts have some structure and the advantage of not having straps that leave tan lines.
•Don’t wear suits with cutouts in the sun. The tan lines look weird.
•Consider a coordinated or matching cover-up.
•Do accessorize! You have lots of options whether it’s a fedora hat, or chunky jewelry or even a simple belt over a simple white one piece.
•If you’re a bustier women avoid ruffles or cringe around the bust area, it will only make your chest appear bigger which as a result look un-proportional.
•Stay away from tankinis- they’re just not cute!
•When you try on the bathing suit, do downward dog to make sure you don’t spill out, if you do- it’s not the right fit.
•To add volume (such as to the bust or hips), choose a piece with ruffles in that area.
•To hide volume (such as on the waist), use shirred or ruched fabric.
